West Yellowstone Train Day Celebration

Check out the big one hundredth anniversary for the town of West Yellowstone and the coming of the first train load of visitors on the Union Pacific Railroad.  This is how the town of West Yellowstone began!  The Union Pacific created the Oregon Shortline Terminus distrcit between 1909 and 1929.  Events will be centered in the district with walking tours available all day as well as rides in historic White Motor Coach Touring buses.  An evening program of music will be provided by the Montana mandolin Society.  For more detailed information please call the yellowstone historic Center at 406-646-7461 or check out their web site.
