Spring in Yellowstone

Where to Find Information

Visit the Yellowstone National Park service's website to get an up to date list of running programs that are available during your visit. When you explore with a Ranger-Led Program, you'll be able to walk through geyser basins, Yellowstone waterfalls, and can even learn about the different Yellowstone wildlife animal tracks. Along with learning about the versatile wildlife, you'll also be able to learn about the unique plants in the Yellowstone ecosystem. In the evening you can participate in the night programs which are located at the visitor centers and campgrounds. However, be prepared for the evening as the programs don't start until after nightfall.

Want More Adventure?

Throughout the summer months, not only will you be able to enjoy a shorter Ranger-led Program, but you'll also be able to take a Summer Adventure Ranger Hike. While most of the Ranger-Led Programs are free, the scenic hikes are $15 for adults and just five dollars for kids. You'll most definitely get your bang for your buck as the expeditions are half-day adventures. Sign up at the visitor's center prior to the hike as they do require a reservation!
